Unlike an L-Sealer, which is limited by the size of its sealing jaw, a side sealer seals the film continuously along the side of the product. The defining feature. This is a dedicated sealing system (often a heated wheel or belt) that is constantly in motion. As the centre-folded film and product pass by, this unit applies heat and pressure to create a continuous, longitudinal seal along the open side of the film.
