Do you provide emergency breakdown support?

Our network of field service engineers covers the entirety of the UK and Ireland, allowing us to provide a rapid response to emergency breakdowns. Our goal is to get your packaging line back into operation as quickly as possible to minimise your losses.

What is included in a preventative maintenance contract?

Our preventative maintenance contracts are designed to catch wear and tear before it leads to a failure. A standard service visit includes a comprehensive mechanical and electrical health check, timing adjustments, lubrication of drive components, and the cleaning of sealing jaws. We also provide a detailed report on any parts that may require replacement in the near future.

Can you service packaging machines not originally bought from Record?

Whilst we specialise in the Record and Record-General range, our engineers have extensive experience with a wide variety of Horizontal Flow Wrappers (HFFS) and other packaging machinery. Depending on the make and model, we can often provide servicing, technical advice, and even bespoke upgrades or refurbished spare parts.

How often should my flow wrap machine be serviced?

For most high-volume production environments, we recommend a professional service at least once or twice a year. However, this depends on your daily throughput and the environment (e.g., wash-down food environments vs. dry hardware packing).
